“It Had Instant Popularity on Youtube” Hit Nation Records Drops Single, “fast Lane”, Prepares for East Coast Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 5, 2023 / Hit Nation Records, an independent music label, has announced the release of its latest single, “Fast Lane” by Jerk the DJ, featuring Caine and Lotty Scotty.

“Fast Lane” was released on August 4, 2023, and was produced by Jerk the DJ and WicJones. The video quickly garnered over half a million views on YouTube within the first week of release, and the team at Hit Nation Records is preparing to market the summer jam.

Hit Nations Records founder and CEO, Buay Deng, is better known by his stage name, Jerk the DJ. He states that Hit Nation Records is getting ready for an East Coast music tour starting in late August 2023, during which Jerk will be touring with DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia and Young Buck.

“We’re excited to be working with DJ Paul and Young Buck,” shares Deng. “They are phenomenal artists who have influenced an entire generation of artists already.”

DJ Paul (Paul Duane Beauregard) is a DJ, rapper, and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee. As a founding member of hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, he played a pivotal role in the evolution and popularization of the Memphis rap sound during the 1990s and early 2000s. Three 6 Mafia’s dark, atmospheric tracks, often laden with themes of horror and occult, gave birth to a new subgenre of hip hop, sometimes referred to as “horrorcore”. His sound is expected to lend a unique facet to Hit Nation Records’ upcoming tour.

Young Buck (David Darnell Brown) heads up his own record label, Cashville. He’s a former member of hip hop group G-Unit. As a well-known artist, he brings entrepreneurial insights that can provide valuable strategies for the tour’s promotion and execution. In addition, Young Buck brings a wealth of knowledge, networking opportunities, and a vast fanbase to the table.

The tour is important for the growth of this young independent record label, as it is an opportunity for Hit Nation Records to broaden its exposure and reputation. This tour is a strategic move; in the highly competitive music industry, visibility and brand recognition play pivotal roles in determining an entity’s success trajectory. The team at Hit Nation Records intends to utilize the tour as a chance to position the label at the forefront of the industry, tapping into new markets and demographics.

Each city on the tour’s itinerary presents a fresh audience, potentially translating into a broader fanbase. Consistent on-ground performances can build a rapport with local fans, fostering loyalty and deepening the connection between the artist and the listener. Beyond just immediate ticket sales, these live events are opportunities for merchandise sales, album promotions, and future collaborations.

“We feel that associating with recognized artists like DJ Paul and Young Buck acts as an endorsement for Hit Nation Records,” shares Deng. “Their veteran presence adds credibility and allure. We hope this will draw larger crowds and more extensive media coverage.”

He adds that positive reviews and word-of-mouth marketing can bolster the label’s reputation, creating a ripple effect that extends beyond the tour’s conclusion. And the experience of organizing, managing, and executing such a large-scale event can be invaluable. “I expect to gain insights into market preferences, logistical challenges, and artist management, better positioning our label for future endeavors,” says Deng. “I feel that this tour is a significant investment in Hit Nation Records’ long-term vision, with the potential to shape its brand identity and market standing for years to come.”
